  2. Joe how does Game Live work? Does the home team scorekeeper feed the data? This Yuma series is impossible to keep up with. One minute the score is one thing then it's completely different. White pitched seven complete(it showed6.2) but then it shows Oster with those innings. It did the same for the Yuma pitcher Ladeuth then Castro. I only care because I'm sort of a stats guy and data out is only as valid as data in. I'm writing this in the eighth inning so maybe it'll all work out in the end but trying to follow it on Game Live is surreal.

  3. I saw that Altman signed w/Orange County. What's up?

  4. Not sure what the situation was with the Scorpions and their Point Streak live data. The live data does always come from the official scorer and his computer. I understand from behind my dividing piece of plywood that they were behind. White pitched six full, Ryder one inning, and Oster one inning.

Kevin Altman signed with Orange County as Phil Nevin had stated to some folks he was looking for some new arms. I really enjoyed Kevin and I wish him nothing but the best of luck. He was released on Wednesday night before the Outlaws got on the bus to come to Yuma.

  5. Thanks Joe. By the way, they still haven't closed the game so the stats haven't transferred. Maybe by morning.

  6. So when Kevin Altman wins a game for Chico, then gets released, comes over to Orange County, wins another game (that's 2 wins so far in 4 days), is he a contestant for pitcher of the week? Is there a part of the story besides wishing him well we are not receiving?

  8. No, I don't think anyone's hiding anything. I didn't realize it had happened until we got to Yuma. Probably my fault for not putting a story up on the website. I'm assuming not needing a fifth starter until after the all-star break that we might not make a move until then. Kevin was a class act and very accomodating to me and personable. Orange County is closer to his home in Riverside and as I said, we all wish him nothing but the best in his career (so long as it doesn't come against Chico).
