Someone needs to check the stats. Poinstreak doesn't show Martin's loss or runs to St. George. Instead it shows Brandt the losing pitcher with six innings. It also shows Cull as the loser in the "pitching stats" of the 8-5 loss to St. George. These discoveries were from an initial look. I'm sure there must be many more that have gone unnoticed. It is important that stats be recorded accurately and without bias because they are the resume of these players and for those who are compared to them. So far Pointstreak is very unimpressive. Last year's stats were well kept.
ReplyDeleteI most certainly agree. The Pointstreak stats for our hitters are wrong as well. I have a stat sheet from my scorebook that I've kept all season long, and I'm trying to figure out how to get that posted to the main webpage. Pointstreak is brand new for everyone around the league this season, so everyone is still working out the kinks. But, be sure, everything will get ironed out soon enough.
