Joe, I remember back in June when it was like the low nineties and you thought it was HOT. Now you're starting to see what NorCal can be. I remember seeing many games at the Nett in the heat. It seemed like there was NO air movement and the air was so thick it wasn't easy to breathe. If we got there early we would maybe get lucky and get sprayed by the field crew. Brutal.
That I did. It was hot in May and it's even hotter now. I'm no stranger to heat, having spent so much time in Arizona. But...I did move from Tucson to Flagstaff after having a little too much desert.
Flagstaff sits at 7,000 ft. elevation with a few 11,000 ft. mountain peaks standing aloft above town. An amazing university town. Between Flagstaff and the relatively mild Northern Ohio, I've spent my last three summers pretty chilled out.
Am loving the Chico experience though. I never thought I'd live in California, and...I think my time here will qualify.
COOL!
